I FOLLOW THREE BASIC RULES!

ALWAYS – Keep the gun pointed in a SAFE direction!
ALWAYS – Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot!
ALWAYS – Keep the gun unloaded until ready to use! 

Every lesson, starting with the beginner through the advanced student always starts with SAFETY. Every session starts out with a SAFETY briefing.

I practice what I preach and preach what I practice.

My belief is that every instructor learns from their students while instructing them. If at any time you stop learning, your most likely DEAD.
I don’t mind exploiting that I am good at what I do. I instruct Firearm Training because it is my passion and I LOVE it! I am ALWAYS HUMBLE while treating others AS I want to be treated. I earn respect, I don’t try to command or demand respect.

During my learning path of many years, learning a great many skills along the way, I keep learning and experiencing one commonality. You learn better with POSITIVE reinforcement.

My training is open to EVERYONE – Male, Female, Youth & Seniors, (after all I am a Senior).

PLEASE NOTE: ALL YOUTH STUDENTS REQUIRE THAT YOUR PARENT BE PRESENT DURING YOUR TRAINING!

Advanced Handgun

We will review your personal goals before beginning.

Advanced Handgun Overview:

Pre-Requisite – Must have attended prior training with TAZFASST or subject to instructor discretion.

The Advanced Handgun course is structured for the next level shooter who is experienced with SAFE handling and shooting of a firearm. Safety is stressed the entire session. Safety violations WILL result in the course ending immediately! The Advanced Handgun course is designed to be a One on One training session consisting of Instruction and Live fire. The course time will vary based on the individual’s needs & requirements. This is not an NRA-approved course.

Course fee $60 per hour.

Course Outline:

1. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
• EYE PROTECTION
• HEARING PROTECTION
2. Review Range Safety Procedures and Requirements
3. Demonstrate Pistol knowledge, Safe gun handling, Proficiency
4. Dry Fire
5. Live Fire
   • Drill examples
     • Accuracy
     • Single shot, Multiple shots
     • Jam clearing, hang fire, misfire
   • Multiple Targets
   • Rapid Fire
   • Timed Fire
   • Reloads
   • Shooting on the move
   • Use of a timer during all Live Fire Drills
     • This measures proficiency
     • Provides SAFE Stress to verify proficiency
6. COURSE REQUIREMENTS
• Must have own firearm
• Must have Extra magazine/Speedloader
• Must bring a Minimum of 150 rounds

DEFENSIVE FIREARM

Defensive Firearm Overview:

*Pre-Requisite – Must have attended prior training with TAZFASST or subject to instructor discretion.

The Defensive Firearm training course is structured for the next level shooter who is experienced with SAFE handling and shooting of a firearm. Safety is stressed the entire session. Safety violations WILL result in the course ending immediately! The Defensive Firearm training course is designed to be a One on One training session consisting of Instruction, Live fire, and developing safe practices for using your firearm in a defensive situation. Use of concealment while you’re defending yourself providing the opportunity for a retreat to safety. The course time will vary based on the individual’s Needs & Requirements. This is not an NRA-approved course.

Course fee $60 per hour.

Course Outline:

1. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
• EYE PROTECTION
• HEARING PROTECTION
2. Review Range Safety Procedures and Requirements
3. Demonstrate Pistol knowledge, Safe gun handling, Proficiency
4. Timed Dry Fire from a draw creating a Safe stress environment
5. Timed Live Fire from a draw creating a Safe stress environment
6. Multiple target acquisition assessing your threat
• Proper target selection
• Stop the immediate threat first
• Access other threats, Shoot no-shoot
• Retreat
7. Reloads from Ammo carrier
8. Speed & Accuracy Drills
9. Shooting on the move
10. COURSE REQUIREMENTS
• Must have own firearm
• Must have Extra magazine/Speedloader
• Must have own holster
• Must have own ammo carrier
• Recommend 300 rounds

Custom Designed Course

Custom-Designed Course Overview:

*Pre-Requisite – Must have attended prior training with TAZFASST or subject to instructor discretion.

The Customer designed course is structured for the next level shooter who is experienced with SAFE handling and shooting of a firearm. Safety is stressed the entire session. Safety violations WILL result in the course ending immediately! The Customer designed course will be structured on the students’ needs and requirements. This class can accommodate a maximum of three students. The content will be solely based on SAFETY and the student’s desire. This is not an NRA-approved course.

Course fee $65 per hour, per student.
